Yuri Goyda (pseudonym I. Karpatsky) (1919–1955), a graduate of the Faculty of Spring Geography at the University of Debrecen, executive secretary of the Transcarpathian branch in 1954. Transcarpathian Writers' Union (1954–1954), edition 3 (edition 1947–1954) , Ukraine. famous poet, songwriter, oratorio, cantata, public figure. His works have been translated into many languages, winner of the award. D. Vakarov (posthumously, lived only 36 years). The release of the sorter is timed to the centenary of the birth of Yu. Goyda. This includes the best selected poetry of the artist, materials about his work (V. Sochka-Borzhavin, L. Ozerov, V. Pop, V. Fedynyshynets, M. Troyan, N. Varvarynets, V. Basarab, S. Panko, S.S. Pankо, N. Ferents, I. Popovych, V. Glodan, G. Horvat), poetic dedications by Yu. Shkrobynets and V. Ladyzhets, memoirs of the poet's daughter M. Myhovych, essays by V. Drogalchuk and B. Kushnir about the poet's son, artist A. Goyda, excerpts from the "Diary" of his contemporary, writer I. Chendei (published for the first time in the submission of O. Gavrosh). There are also archival documents about Yu. Goyda (published for the first time) from the funds of the Central State Archive-Museum of Literature and Art of Ukraine with an accompanying article by prof. S. Kiral. The book is published with the assistance of a deputy of the Mukachevo district council George Horvat. The collection is addressed to a wide range of readers, in particular those who are interested in the literature and culture of Transcarpathia.
