Review of the modern navigation systems and their sensors is carried. The future trends of the modern navigation systems development are considered.

This paper is devoted to the parametric robust optimization of the LQC - controller designed for multivariable flight control system. At the 1 stage LQC-regulator is designed using the separation theorem. At the 2 stage this controller was parametrically optimized using genetic algorithm to find the trade-off between the performance and robustness. The sensitivity theory is applied to reduce the number of parameters involved in the optimization procedure.

The specificity of the surface microgeometry formation under the influence of aerosol gas-dynamic suspension flow was considered. The composition and character of metallic surface layer formation of aircraft parts was investigated. The possibility of surface material composition and properties adjustment changing aerosol gas-dynamic suspension flow parameters was determined. The hypothesis about the possibility of using aerosol gas-dynamic suspension flow to form corrosion-resistant coating on the detail metallic surfaces was set up.

In this article a multi-choice approach for aircraft deviation control from the flight-planned trajectory has been represented. Nine air-situation classes are considered as optimal number for guarantied required safety level. Bayesian classifier has been used for air-situation classification.

There are the technical complexes consisting of components, parts of which are actively used, but the rest has lost working capacity owing to moral and physical deterioration. An example of such a complex is the aviation-flight complex "plane-simulator". High cost components which continue to be used (plane) do the actual task of restoring and supporting the out-of-order components (simulator). The rework method is reengineering.

Degradable biobased (derived from agriculture) composites are emerging materials that offer benefits to the environment thus minimizing waste that would be otherwise deposited in landfills. Single-use primary packaging materials have been identified as suitable items to be replaced by biodegradable materials from renewable resources. Materials composed of starch, soy protein and polyvinyl alcohol, modified by hydrophobic fatty acids, are evaluated in terms of water resistance as promising substitutes for packaging materials.

Disordered and semi-amorphous oxides of manganese sulfate at the presence of additives of cobalt (II), copper (II), lithium ions. Materials obtained were characterized with XRD, TGA, TEM, Fourier spectroscopy. The low doping by ions of cobalt, copper and lithium have also been studied. It has been shown that the latter additives allow varying the phase composition, defects concentration and size of crystallites of the anode product. The heavier doping leads to the formation of X-ray amorphous products.

The method of examination is one of the most important elements in the algorithm of innovative educational environment creation. It enables to carry out monitoring and get the clearer picture of potential, directions and prospects of the environment development. The article contains some results and conclusions of such research carried out on one of the engineering faculties of National Aviation University.

The specificity of ecological audit of burial places and storages radioactive wastes on the example CHPP is considered; namely main principles, positions, requirements, tasks, objects, subjects of ecological audit, a team of specialists for its fulfillment, ecological problems, connected with storing of radioactive wastes and their influence on the human's health. Main possibilities of improving radioactive wastes control system are also considered.

Questions, that concern the ability to use natural sorbent - poligorskite of Cherkassy deposit - in processes of petroleum products clearing, are considered. The influence of different methods of samples preration on efficiency of adsorption clearing of furnace fuel, is researched. Comparative characteristic of adsorbent's selectivity toward different pollutions was made. High effectiveness of ussing of natural poligorskite for extraction of acidic pollutions from petroleum products was showed.

The problem of xenobiotics bioavailability in soil and water medium is currently the object of considerable attention of scientists, environment activists, and policy makers. The concept of xenobiotics bioavailability is seldom defined precisely. Every branch of science explains it in its own way. In present publication we are trying to reveal the idea of bioavailability concept and to connect bioavailability definitions to the concept of water and soil system pollution.

The basis of conceptual models are presented in the article. Practical application of environmental conceptual models to the process of environmental risks assessment process is given. Structural issues of models formation are presented and most common types of conceptual models are analyzed. Recommendations for site-specific models construction are developed for various organizational levels and types of receptors. The scheme for integration of ecological conceptual model with conceptual model for the industrial site is presented and approaches to making them consistent with the conceptual model of human health risks are stated.

Simple noise monitoring systems, which are currently used around airports to create a noise map in residential areas, are unable to identify source frequencies and their impact on the environment. This article presents the dominant frequencies during aircraft approaches at Lyon Saint-Exupery International Airport (France) and analyzes the evidence of their impact on the environment. The results have the potential to contribute to the improvement of environmental quality around airports. They provide the emitted frequencies during the operations which can be treated by passive or active control systems.

Considered are the theoretical and methodological aspects of the development of comprehensive lexicographic terminological referential editions as a result of fundamental classifying work "Business English in Aviation" (in two versions: English-Ukrainian and Ukrainian-English) to be used by aviation specialists for educational and practical purposes.

The problem of the pulsed magnetic field distribution in the cross section of the inductor core at the induction accelerator of electron beam is under consideration in this paper. Owing to multi-layer structure of the core package it has the magnetic and electric anisotropy with different speed of the field diffusion along the sheets of magnetic and across the sheets. At the pulse duration less than one microsecond the essential-uniformity of the field along both axes of the core cross section can be found. This effect reduces the efficiency of the ferromagnetic material using with corresponding loss of the accelerator efficiency. The main conclusion of the paper consists of the necessity to check the field diffusion characteristics in the process of inductor design to be sure that the pulsed field is able to fill the cross section of the core during the pulse switching. The magnetic characteristics of the anisotropic core have been investigated in the paper by one-dimensional and two-dimensional simulation in the guise-stationary approximation using the traditional equation of the field diffusion.

Various models for predicting aircraft noise around airports are described. Improved acoustic models of aircraft are formed by summing models for the noise sources peculiar to each of the aircraft types. Their accuracy and uncertainty are assessed by means of comparison with flight trials measurements.

Maintenance market qualitative change and main problems of its reformation are analyzed.

Data on hydro chemical monitoring and water quality for the South-Ukrainian Nuclear Power Plant cooling pool are considered in the paper. Changes in the Tashlyk cooling pool water physical and chemical parameters under influence of the South-Ukrainian Power Complex are analyzed. It was shown that values of some parameters exceed limited acceptable concentrations for water reservoir for fish economy.

The paper focuses on construction, production and erection of elements, methodology of testing and researching results of precaust prestressed shell from light concrete 12×24 m, which is used for covering of industrial building.
