We consider first-order symmetric system <$EJy prime~-~A(t)y~=~lambda DELTA (t)y> with <$En~times~n>-matrix coefficients defined on an interval [a,b) with the regular endpoint a. It is assumed that the deficiency indices <$EN sub symbol С> of the system satisfies <$EN sub - ~symbol Г~N sub + ~=~n>. The main result is a parametrization of all pseudospectral functions <$Esigma ( cdot )> of any possible dimension <$En sub sigma ~symbol Г~n> by means of a Nevanlinna parameter <$Etau~=~{C sub 0 ( lambda )>, <$EC sub 1 ( lambda )}>. Such a parametrization is given by the linear-fractional transform [формула] and the Stieltjes inversion formula for <$Em sub tau ( lambda )>. We also show that the matrix <$EW( lambda )~=~(w sub ij ( lambda )) sub ij=1 sup 2> has the properties similar to those of the resolvent matrix in the extension theory of symmetric operators. The obtained results develop the results by A. Sakhnovich; Arov and Dym; Langer and Textorius.
